We have added Oil Cloth Alley products to our mix at LTB.

Oil Cloth Alley aprons are made from Vintage 1940 Apron Patterns updated with modern combos of prints with dots, stripes and checks.

This apron is the 'Day of The Dead' Toile and is available at the market. We have document bags and pencil cases in this particular toile.

Entertain in style and wipe off any messes.....yes this is the same stuff as you found on the kitchen table!

She was born Frances Elizabeth Kent, became Sister Mary Corita Kent when she entered the order of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart in Los Angeles, CA, and after leaving the order was known as Corita Kent. She is one of America’s most celebrated serigraph artists. Her magical use of color and text won her international acclaim from the 1950s until her death in 1986.

A long silence as we geared up and worked on becoming the 'go to' place for edgy greeting cards & office gifts. Combined with the kitchen action, this has kept Le Tablier Blanc staff hopping!

Whigby is a group of Toronto designers who do greeting cards and these great iconic ornaments (snowmobile, beaver, caribou, bush plane and of course, the goalie). The perfect gift to take away for under $20.00

At the NY Stationery Show in May, there was a ton of letterpress to be found BUT, there were some great new companies (we are talking small operations) with cards and stationery with great design and current themes. We've added many of the better ones to the existing mix from our tried and true Toronto suppliers.

The plan is to feature a weekly item or card from Paper to tempt everyone for a visit. There are always great items to funk up the kitchen of your condo, apt, home or cottage in the Kitchen.

We took a breather to get things organized and operating in a unique manner....that takes time!

The back story follows:

"Years ago, I attended my brother's wedding in a small village in Southern France. Since there were no hotels in town, all guests were matched with French hosts. My hosts spoke no English and I spoke no French which made dinner conversation a challenge. Long stretches of awkward silences were compounded by the fact that French dinners can last for 3-4 hours. There was, however, one saving grace....a fish shaped water pitcher that "gurgled". I found myself dringing more water than wine so I could fill the silent room with "gurgling" and unite the table with smiles......"

Matt Ellison returned home and 10 years later we have this wonderful "GurglePot" to share with you.

The XL Garlic Zoom from ChefN is on the shelves. This big brother to the Original Garlic Zoom was introduced at Shows this summer. It works on the same principle as the Original but holds more cloves of garlic and has large (sharp!) blades. We are thrilled with this great gadget. Fun for adults & kids (with supervision of course) in the kitchen.
